..Well, hello there!
Welcome to Arise with Amber! Goodness, this is a long time coming. So much life has happened since I started Arise with Amber back in 2019. As many people know, Arise began in my closet. It started out as something I called “Closet Confessionals” on Instagram. I would go in my closet and hide from the kiddos when I needed a mommy break. They always usually found me in there and we would have a good laugh as they climbed all over me. So much for the break, haha. Sadly, what started out as a silly thing during the throes of being a mom with 3 kids under 5, turned into a place of sadness and grief when I went into my closet to cry after we lost our son, River. We had been filming our YouTube show The Smiths for a few months, so when Riv went home, Granger encouraged me to film again. He said, “Just turn the camera on and see what comes out.” What came out was tears and my feelings of right where I was in that moment. We posted it and some said I should start my own channel talking about our journey and my faith. After some praying, Arise with Amber was born. To date, there have been over 140 episodes and counting. I have learned and grown so much throughout those 140 episodes. I look back on those first few and see how far I have come in my walk with Jesus. I see a broken woman being healed little by little in every episode. What began as a little devotional reading on Sundays by a new believer has turned into a ministry to share the good news of Jesus and the hope we have in Him. I have really loved studying the scriptures and sharing them with each of you. I enjoy praying with you and reading your comments. I hope one thing I say will make one of you want to know your Creator. God is so good and He has a purpose and plan for your life. He desires to know you so you can glorify Him. I can’t wait to bring you more blog posts. I will talk about marriage, kids, life, parenthood, grief, hope, joy and so much more. I hope to share recipes with all of you as well as give you an inside look at what the Smith family is up to. We have so many exciting things coming soon. Thank you for being here, for taking the time to care about our family, pray for our family, and encourage us. We are thankful for our community and brothers and sisters in Christ. I have only been watching for a couple of months now and I do enjoy the word that you bring forth to everyone. Some believe that the word should only come from the pastor, but I say, anytime you can get a good word from someone that is a believer, then take it and apply it to your life. I hate it that it came from grief, but God can use us no matter what because He first loved us. God bless and keep on keeping on. Someone is being touched now as your video is playing.

Thank you, you have grown and it’s been great to watch your journey of trial, hardship and devastation, you have had to go thru to keeping your eyes on Jesus constantly and letting him heal you, giving you hope, peace, joy, love. You do have great support though. You do give me encouragement 🥰
